Hello Everyone.
For all of those people who have been in touch over the last few days regarding my Sisters' book and the surrounding publicity that goes with it, thank you, thank you thank you. Your words are so touching. However, I am once again forced into making a statement.
More nonsense from Mrs.Fensome. Twice now she has talked of the "trivial" row that started the feud. If the row was so trivial how come Ray, even after admitting he was wrong, in a letter we still have, without actually apologising for it. Was the only one who refused to move on? After Anne and I suggested it? Not so trivial for your husband then was it? Then I read in the Guardian YET ANOTHER LIE COMES OUT. When will they ever tell the truth? I have not long since retired. I have the enviable position of being able to pick and choose. Hence the Judy Garland shows I am doing and a long Pantomime in Leeds later this year. I still LOVE singing and I still LOVE Panto. I am not going to sit back and let them tell lies. Finally - In the statement I made in March you will see that I commented when Coleen had claimed in Best Magazine that she wanted to put it behind her and move on. That we would have to accept that. I mentioned then - Last month - That we would have to see if she would be mentioning it in her book? Of course she did! After already mentioning it in her autobiography she wanted to move on, BY MENTIONING IT ALL OVER AGAIN - IN GREATER DETAIL!

I rest my case.

Hi All,

I was absolutely amazed to get a text sent to my good friend Adam, (who designs my website)originally from my sister, Maureen, on behalf of Linda and Coleen the other day.
Why Maureen didn’t text me directly, (I think Adam would have preferred that) I don’t know, I’m sure she has her reasons. Maureen texted, that Coleen and Linda had asked her to convey their anger (the word “irate” was used) about my recent article on my website. We are still trying to figure out why Linda was Irate?!
They said they didn’t want or need the row kicking off again. Coleen apparently has no control over what the Magazines print, as they have articles or stories put in store about the family, that they can pull out and print anytime they are short of a story.
“IRATE” !!!! The only reason I put my feelings on my website is because Anne and I are VERY IRATE and sick of the row coming out in print, yet again !! It was printed on the front page in a national Magazine FIRST, my website article was published in anger about this untruth.! I believe that it is more likely to be read by the public in a national magazine seen in many shops throughout Britain, than my lowly website.

I suppose I should be somewhat flattered, that they feel that my words can compare to a popular magazine, although I personally, very much doubt it. If, as Coleen says, she has no editorial control, that is very scary, because it means they could print whatever they want, no matter how old or untrue the story is, now. The point is, the public don’t know it’s old news, but believe it’s just happened !!!
Anne and I find it hard to believe that various articles we have done, we have always had Complete Editorial Control over what is printed, and our very popular sibling hasn’t ????? !!!!

We have to accept they are sick of the row rearing it’s ugly head again, but wonder, will it be mentioned in the girls forthcoming autobiography due out in March ? Lets wait and see !!!

I decided to write how I feel on MY website, the one place no one can twist my words. It is MY website !!! I’ll say what I want, right or wrong, and as I will never read Coleen’s, she has my permission to :-

NEVER READ MINE AGAIN !!!

To ALL those who have emailed Anne and I with their support in the last few traumatic years, and there have been many, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and hope to see some of you at the Judy Garland concert in Bridlington on 7 May 2011.....

Once again, Coleen, to gain publicity in whatever way she can these days, has brought up the family row again in a woman’s Magazine. I think the public have lost interest, and rightly so, in our family problems, in a world with so many disastrous things happening. The row, contrary to the sensationalist headline, is no worse, and probably better than it was before.

Anne wrote a letter, from both of us, to the four girls, to the effect that, for the sake of all the children and our extended family and friends, we would like to do the mature thing and be able to talk to each other again, and attend family parties without our loved ones having to choose between us. We have never stopped loving our siblings, you can’t just switch that off, and I know personally, I will never be totally happy again, because, try as I might, I will never feel the same about the people who were unquestionably, one of the most important parts of my life!
That has gone forever!!

Maureen and Bernie were very glad to be talking again and I’m happy to say we have seen them since then. Bernie, thankfully, is doing well now, Coleen and Linda never even answered the letter.

It makes me curious as to what advice Coleen would give the readers who write to her problem page in the tabloid she works for, If, someone wrote in with a similar dilemma.
It smacks of desperation to keep bringing up the same old subject, especially when it hasn’t changed, in our opinion, anyway !!
It also makes me sad for the person I used to know, when I read of the obvious delight she is taking in, yet, another autobiography coming out soon, that she says, will shock everyone. Scandal, Abuse, etc. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH Coleen, think of the people you’re still supposed to care about!!

She finished the article by saying she can never talk to us again, as there have been too many lies and vile things said. At last, the truth !
